Terms of Use (EULA)
These Terms govern your use of Pennypot for iPhone and Apple Watch, made by A&N Apps ("we"). By downloading or using Pennypot you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Apple's standard licence
Pennypot is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), which forms part of these Terms. These Terms add the provisions below. Where they conflict with the Standard EULA, these Terms apply to the extent the law allows. Apple is not responsible for Pennypot or its content, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
2. What Pennypot does
Pennypot lets you mark which spends are little extras for you, works out your usual monthly amount for them (from your last three months, or from your own estimate) and shows how much you've kept by spending less than usual. Spends come from bank statements you import, Apple Pay purchases added through a Shortcuts automation, and spends you add by hand.
There is no account. Your data is stored on your devices and in your iCloud; see the Privacy Policy.
3. Not financial advice
Pennypot is a personal tool for noticing your spending habits. The numbers, ideas and categories it shows are estimates based only on the data you give it, and they can be wrong, for example if a statement is read incorrectly, a spend is missing, or a place is marked differently than you meant. Pennypot is not a bank, does not move money and does not give financial, tax or investment advice. Check important figures against your bank, and make your own decisions about your money.
4. Price
Pennypot is free to download and use and has no in-app purchases. If a later version adds paid features, these Terms will be updated before that version is released.
5. Your data
What you add to Pennypot belongs to you. It is stored on your devices and in your iCloud account, so keeping it safe also depends on your device, your iCloud settings and Apple's services. We don't have a copy and can't restore lost data.
6. Fair use
You agree not to copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the app except where the law expressly allows it, not to misuse or overload the statement-reading service behind the app, not to get around its security checks, and not to use Pennypot for anything unlawful.
7. Intellectual property
The Pennypot name, the pot mascot, the app icon, artwork and the app itself belong to A&N Apps or its licensors. The Nunito typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License.
8. Disclaimers
Pennypot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those required by law. We don't promise that the app will always work, that every statement format can be read, or that its figures are free of errors.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Pennypot is limited to the amount you paid for Pennypot in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for loss of data, or for decisions you make based on the app's figures. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms, for example when Pennypot gains new features. The current version is always at pennypot.anapps.store/terms, and the "Last updated" date moves forward when it changes. Continuing to use Pennypot after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Poland have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
